ENLS Version 3.0 Information

ENLS Version 3.0 Is Live!!

The Emergency Neurological Life Support (ENLS) course undergoes a content upgrade every two years. ENLS V3.0 includes updated content with three areas of emphasis:

  • More directive algorithms and specific information in checklists
  • Incorporation of aspects essential to providing nursing care for patients with acute neurological emergencies
  • Attention to consistency with published guidelines from the Neurocritical Care Society as well as our sister societies involved in emergency and critical care of patients

This revised version of ENLS continues to provide an algorithmic approach to the early stages of clinical care for patients with acute neurological emergencies. It also will serve as a springboard for ongoing education and improvements in the quality of clinical care for these patients.

If you have any questions about the release of ENLS V3.0, please don't hesitate to ask: enls@Neurocriticalcare.org, 952.377.8870.

ENLS Version 3.0 FAQ

I never even started ENLS V2.0. Now what?

Those who were enrolled in ENLS V2.0 are now automatically enrolled in ENLS 3.0.

I completed some of the ENLS V2.0 exams but had some more to do. Now what?

Your progress did not transfer to the new version, but because you are automatically enrolled in ENLS V3.0, you may now start taking ENLS V3.0 exams to complete your certification. Each exam needs to be passed with a score of 70 or above to become certified.

I am currently ENLS-Certified. Will I have access to the new material?

Yes! You will continue to have unlimited access to the course and materials for the duration of your 2-year certification. To access your course, log in to your NCS account, then click on My Account > Manage My Account > Access ENLS Courses.

When it's time to recertify, you will be taking the ENLS V3.0 course.
