NCS Guidelines Committee

The NCS Guideline Committee will determine topics suitable for guideline development, identify key experts in the chosen topic, facilitate the development of ‘best practice’ clinical management guidelines, and review the final document. The committee will organize expert panels to address controversial issues as needed. In addition, they will coordinate approval of any final document with the Neurocritical Care Society Board of Directors and determine the appropriate means of distribution to society members.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the review process
  • Organizing expert panels to address controversial issues as needed
  • Determining the appropriate means of distribution to society members through publications, the annual meeting, journals, and other electronic communications
