2010 NCS Meeting: Scientific Abstracts Update

The quality of abstracts submitted for the NCS meeting continues to improve. This year a total of 279 abstracts were submitted and 215 (77%) were accepted for presentation in the meeting. Of these, 18 will be presented as oral abstracts and 197 as traditional posters.

The oral sessions will feature 5 presentations pertaining to patients with cardiac arrest, a research area into which our group is beginning to make a major impact. The poster sessions feature an increased number of posters pertaining to administration of the neuro-ICU and patient related metrics monitored in the ICU.

The pre-registration deadline for the 8th Annual NCS Meeting is September 1, 2010. Please register using one of the methods below.

Please note: NCS members receive discounted meeting rates. 2010 membership dues must be current in order to receive the discounted registration rate.

CANCELLATION POLICY: All cancellations occurring after August 16, 2010 are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Written notification of your
cancellation is required in order to process your refund. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED AFTER SEPTEMBER 1, 2010.

Travel Grant Awards:  

Congratulations to the 2010 NCS Travel Grant Awardees! Supported by: Integra Foundation

The 2010 NCS Travel Grant, supported by the Integra Foundation, provided financial assistance to neuroscience critical care nurses, pharmacists, and resident/fellow physicians in order to attend the 2010 NCS Annual Meeting. After careful review by the Selection Committee, ten $1,000 awards were given to the following NCS members:
