The Department of Neurology at University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Health System is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Neurocritical Care physician to join the institution as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Neurology.

The candidate will join 5 academic neurointensivists in the Division of Neurocritical Care. The Neuro-ICU, a state of the art 27-bed unit at Jackson Memorial Hospital and 8-bed at University of Miami, is equipped with advanced neuroimaging, raw and quantitative EEG (surface, intracortical, subdural strips), and other multimodal monitoring capabilities (ICP, microdialysis, brain tissue oxygenation, jugular oximetry, TCD, ICM+ and Moberg monitors). As part of one of the largest level 1 trauma center in US, the Neuro-ICU at Jackson Memorial Hospital provides care to patients with primary brain and spine injuries.

The hired faculty teaching responsibilities include overseeing neurocritical care fellows; neurology, neurosurgery, and emergency medicine residents; medical students, and advanced care providers. Candidates with strong research and funding interests are encouraged to apply.
