Neurointensivist (Havard Medical School)


The Department of Neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking an ABPN certified/eligible
academic Neurointensivist to join the Division of Neurocritical Care and to join the faculty of Harvard
Medical School at the Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor level.
The successful candidate should be clinically active and have a local, national or international reputation
as an expert in Neurocritical care. An ideal candidate should have an established research interest and
demonstrate ability to attract sustained research funding. Although substantial direct clinical and
research experience would be advantageous, less experienced candidates with exceptional promise will
also be considered.

Candidates should be fellowship trained in Neurocritical Care and be BE/BC in Neurology and in
Neurocritical Care. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation as a clinician and an established
commitment to academics and teaching. Appointment as an Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate
Professor at the Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training, and
achievements. A corresponding hospital appointment will accompany the Harvard Medical School
appointment. Suitable candidates will have MD or MD-PhD degrees. Applications from women and
