Our award-winning Level I Trauma and Network with a Comprehensive Stroke Center as well as four Primary Stroke Centers seeks to add a Neurocritical Care Specialist to our comprehensive team. Currently the team consists of four Neurointensivists and seven APPs. Our trauma and neurosurgical program is a leader in Phoenix and offers multidisciplinary care. The neurocritical care physician will be part of our supportive and collegial group dedicated to making a difference in our communities. Join an active neuroICU with developed protocols and order sets. The neurointensivist is a member of the trauma and stroke team. Pathology will include TBI, subarachnoid hemorrhage, intracranial hemorrhage, status epilepticus, acute ischemic stroke, anoxic brain injury, and encephalopathies in a critical setting.

The neurocritical care physician would work alongside 4 other Neurocritical Care physicians, 6 Neurosurgeons, 8 Trauma Surgeons, 2 Stroke Neurologists, 6 Neurohospitalists and 3 Mid-level providers; Full inhouse hospitalist, trauma, anesthesia program and 24/7 Critical Care to help with late night intubations and central lines; Great life style, 26 weeks of vacation per year; Remote access to imaging (iPhone and Android compatible), remote access to Epic EMR (can write notes from anywhere), remote access to EEG; NO outpatient clinic; 100% Neurocritical Care, 50% Stroke with Teladoc and nurse practitioner assistance — No general neurology - help build a comprehensive team; candidate must be interested in mastering advanced procedures and learning how to perform ventriculostomies, TCDs, and invasive intracranial monitor placement; Relocation expenses paid; Safe and secure salaried position with potential for additional income as seniority increases; Stroke call is light with APP assistance. 8 stroke calls per 4 weeks and always on the regular neuroICU day.

We require the physician to be: M.D., D.O., MBBS, or MB ChB; BC/BE Neurocritical Care; Completion of a neurology residency, and an accredited fellowship in Neurocritical Care
