Description:
The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, an independent, non-profit clinical practice group affiliated with the George Washington University, is seeking applicants for a regular, full-time faculty position in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine. Intensivists at GW work closely with intensivist colleagues, neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, neurologists, anesthesiologists, trauma surgeons, and other sub-specialists in an environment that fosters collaboration.

Responsibilities include providing comprehensive, multi-system care to critically-ill patients with primary or secondary neurological disease as well as care to general critical care patients; teaching residents and medical students; and pursuing scholarly interests. Appointment to this full-time academic position will be made at a rank (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor) and salary commensurate with experience.

Applicants must be board certified or board eligible in any of the core specialties of Critical Care Medicine as well as neuro-critical care medicine, at the time of appointment. Eligibility for licensure in the District of Columbia is also required.
