The Greenville Neurological Institute is rapidly growing and we are seeking quality physicians to add to our dedicated team. Our focus is on the current and future growth of the Neurological Institute and our goal is to provide comprehensive neurological care to Greenville, SC and its surrounding areas. Our stroke program has been a Joint Commission certified Primary Stroke Center since 2009, a 2015 Gold Plus and Target Stroke Honor Roll Elite Plus recipient, and a Comprehensive Stroke Center since 2017.
We are currently seeking neurointensivists to join our team of 3 neurointensivists and 4 Neuro ICU Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). This position is jointly supported by the divisions of Neurology and Neurosurgery and offers a neuro ICU opportunity with multidisciplinary critical care, including ischemic stroke, intracranial hemorrhage, subarachnoid hemorrhage and other neurocritical care conditions. We also have a strong trauma program with neurointensivist consultation as needed. APPs will be provided for 24/7 coverage. A brand new 16 bed dedicated neuro ICU opened in 2016. Endovascular neurosurgeons and neurointerventionalists are available for endovascular treatment of stroke and cerebral aneurysms 24/7.
A new neurology residency program with 6 residents per year is set to start in 2020.
