Speak in Person
NCS is thrilled to host our annual meeting in person once again! Feedback from attendees continues to show that there’s more excellent value in meeting face-to-face, and we couldn’t agree more. With that in mind, as long as it remains safe and possible for the NCS community to gather in person, all speakers must present in person. We will not be able to accommodate any virtual or pre-recording requests. If you are not able to speak in person, please notify speakers@neurocriticalcare.org immediately. We will work with the session chair and Annual Meeting Committee to identify a replacement speaker.
Registration and Travel
Speakers are required to register for the Annual Meeting. NCS members should log into their NCS accounts before registering to access the member rate. All speakers will be provided with registration instructions and a discount code in an email – this information is forthcoming.
Speakers are responsible for arranging their own travel and expenses. Please plan your travel accordingly to be able to upload your presentation from a USB flash drive in the Speaker Ready Room the day before your session by 5:00 p.m. PST. Speaker Ready Room hours are in the below Speaker Ready Room Section.
Submitting Your Final Presentation
One PowerPoint should be created for each individual talk. All speakers are required to upload their presentations from a USB flash drive in the Speaker Ready Room by 5:00 p.m. PST the day before your presentation. This will allow the onsite audiovisual team to ensure your presentation is correctly set-up for your session.
Please note: You will still need to check in at the Speaker Ready Room even if you uploaded your PowerPoint in the speaker portal. Please see Speaker Ready Room dates and times below.
Speaker Ready Room
Speakers are required to check in at the Speaker Ready Room when they arrive on-site to provide the AV team with their final PowerPoint presentations the evening before their session. Speakers are still required to check into the Speaker Ready Room even if they uploaded their final presentation to the speaker portal. This is also a space for speakers to test their PowerPoint, test video elements or practice presenting.
