ATTENTION:

NCS has moved to a new Learning Center to allow learners to smoothly transition from the ENLS Certification product to the ENLS Recertification product. So that this transition works properly within the new system all learners will need to complete or recomplete the certification product. At this time ENLS Recertification is not available.

Application

NCS is implementing a $25 non-refundable application fee for all ENLS Live Courses to help ensure commitment to hosting a live course. Upon submitting payment, course administrators will receive a confirmation email with a link to the host application form. The application is not complete until this form has been completed, signed, and submitted.

This form must be completed at least three weeks prior to your event date.

Once the application has been completed, NCS requires a deposit of $300 to obtain the discount code for your learners. Final attendee numbers must be submitted no later than one day after the live event at which time a final invoice will be sent.

Trainer

The ENLS® course host is responsible for selecting the faculty for the course. Hosts select to certify staff as ENLS® trainers and have those individuals as course faculty.

Recommended number of faculty: 2-5

Trainer Requirements:

The faculty must be meet all below items:

Active NCS membership
Valid ENLS® certification
Valid ENLS® trainer certification
CV submitted to NCS that demonstrates previous teaching experience

Fees

Fees for each ENLS® Course are calculated based on the number of participants, profession and geographic location. The host is responsible for setting a price, collecting participants' registration fees and distributing course material.

NCS Ambassador

To ensure the quality of ENLS® course training is met, an NCS Ambassador presence is required if at least one of the following criteria is met:

A course is affiliated with a professional association (e.g. an AANN chapter) or conference event (e.g. SCCM) with greater than 25 participants
A course is hosted by an institution or professional organization in a country outside of the United States for the first time and has greater than 25 participants

NCS Ambassador will be assigned by the NCS Executive Committee.

Should an NCS Ambassador is required to attend, or if you would like a facilitator to teach at your institution, Host must fund at minimum, the following:

Airfare (Economy Class)
Hotel
Meals

The exceptional case applies to an organization that is not able to fund the NCS Ambassador. Reach out to us here.

Marketing

ENLS courses that are open to the public benefit greatly from marketing efforts - a little bit of marketing goes a long way toward boosting registration numbers!

Please remember that while you may immediately prepare marketing materials, (1) marketing cannot occur until approval is granted by the NCS Education Office, and (2) all marketing materials must be approved by the NCS Education Office.
