Annual Board of Director Nomination

The Neurocritical Care Society (NCS) is seeking passionate leaders to fulfill two open positions on the NCS Board of Directors. As we navigate a changing healthcare landscape, your involvement in NCS is more important than ever to help guide our strategic direction for the future. 

The NCS Board of Directors works diligently throughout the year to identify and implement strategies to strengthen our society and the neurocritical care community. Individuals who serve on the Board of Directors will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the neurocritical care field and contribute to the strategic direction of NCS. We hope you join us in advancing our vision and mission. 

NCS is seeking nominations for two Director positions: 

• Pharmacist 

• At-large Member (any profession) 

 

View the duties and responsibilities of Directors. Each position is a three-year term and will begin in October 2026. 

NCS members can self-nominate or be nominated by another NCS member.  International members are also encouraged to apply. 

Ideal candidates for the NCS Board of Directors have the following attributes: 

• Passion for the field of neurocritical care 

• Dedication to NCS. 

• Exceptional interpersonal skills. 

• Servant leader mentality.

Criteria for Nomination:  

• At least five years of NCS membership 

• Attendance at least five NCS Annual Meetings 

• Committee leadership (current or prior chair or co-chair) 

• Demonstrated multi-disciplinary initiatives 

• Service to NCS 
   

All candidates who accept the nomination will be required to submit a current curriculum vitae (CV), a personal statement and one letter of recommendation. 

The deadline for submitting nominations is Monday, March 16, 2026.
