Concurrent Session Proposals
Submissions will open on Monday, February 23.
The Annual Meeting Committee (AMC) will consider submissions that meet the criteria for a focused 20-minute lecture. Each Concurrent Session features three (3) 20-minute talks grouped together into one (1) session on a cohesive topic.
Please reference the submission instructions, guidelines and subsequent sections on this page before beginning your submission. Decision notifications will be released in late-April.
Visit the submission portal and select the education track that is best aligned with your content to begin. NCS membership is not required to submit; however, we encourage all speakers to join NCS as a member and we will give preferential speaking spots to our NCS members.
You must have an account with Linklings, the NCS Program Management System, to make a submission. If you already have an account and do not remember your password, click “forgot password” or email support@linklings.com.
Permissible Formats
Concurrent Session Proposals may be submitted in the following formats:
- Individual Talk: One speaker will submit a 20-minute presentation that, if accepted, will be grouped with two other speakers into a 60-minute concurrent session on a cohesive topic by the Annual Meeting Committee (AMC). Only one speaker is allowed per talk.
- Grouped Talks: Three (3) speakers will each submit individual talks and be able to note in the submission form that they are submitting as part of a group. Speakers will be required to use the same name for the group in the submissions to assist the AMC during their reviews. Only one speaker is allowed per talk.
- PLEASE NOTE: It is at the discretion of the AMC to accept the entire grouping OR only an individual talk that is slotted into another concurrent session.
Acceptances, rejections and session groupings are at the discretion of the AMC. Preference will be given to sessions that feature NCS members as speakers. The AMC also reserves the right to make minor changes to submissions at their discretion.
