23rd Annual Meeting

Speak in Person
NCS is thrilled to host our annual meeting in person once again! Feedback from attendees continues to show that there’s more excellent value in meeting face-to-face, and we couldn’t agree more. With that in mind, as long as it remains safe and possible for the NCS community to gather in person, all speakers must present in person. We will not be able to accommodate any virtual or pre-recording requests. If you are not able to speak in person, please notify speakers@neurocriticalcare.org immediately. We will work with the session chair and Annual Meeting Committee to identify a replacement speaker.
Registration and Travel
Speakers are required to register for the Annual Meeting. NCS members should log into their NCS accounts before registering to access the member rate. All speakers will be provided with registration instructions and a discount code in an email – this information is forthcoming.
Speakers are responsible for arranging their own travel and expenses.
Submitting Your Final Presentation
One PowerPoint should be created for each individual talk.
UPDATE: If you make any changes after uploading your presentation or fail to upload it by the deadline, you are responsible for bringing your PowerPoint with you on a USB flash drive to the conference. You must arrive to your session room 15 minutes early to put your PowerPoint on the session room laptop.
PLEASE NOTE: Speakers are no longer required to bring final PowerPoints to the Speaker Ready Room by 5:00 p.m. PT the day before their presentation.
Speaker Ready Room
Speakers can use this space to test their PowerPoint, test video elements or practice presenting while onsite at the Annual Meeting. The specific room assignments and times it will be open will be updated closer to the meeting.
Introduce Your Session to the Community
NCS invites you to participate in a video project for the NCS 23rd Annual Meeting. We’d love to introduce our members to you and have you give a preview of your session. To participate, you’ll record a short video (under two minutes) introducing yourself and your session.
We’ve made it really easy to record this video straight from your computer or device. Just go here and follow the prompts. Here’s what we’re hoping you can cover in under 120 seconds –
- Introduce yourself, including your name, role, and organization.
- Tell us about your session.
- What can attendees expect from your session and why should they attend? Consider 1-3 takeaways or outcomes they will learn.
- Invite people to join you at the NCS Annual Meeting this fall.
